Wordshark  and Numbershark are two of the most popular programs used in UK, Irish and Australian schools.  Wordshark aims to help students read and spell with over 9,000 words and sentences including 3,000 for use at secondary level.  

The activities and the selection of prerecorded words have been specially targeted to assist those with specific learning difficulties. (Dyslexia). You can also create your own word lists to address particular problem areas.

  •   The program includes phonics, onset and rime, homophones, spelling rules, common letter patterns, visual and auditory patterns, prefixes, suffixes, roots, word division, high frequency words, use of words in context, alphabet and dictionary skills and more.
  •   The games and the selection or words have been specially targeted to assist those with specific learning difficulties (Dyslexia).
