Earobics

Earobics is a fun, interactive programme that uses scientifically-based techniques to systematically teach listening skills, phonological awareness, phonics and comprehension skills.

The Earobics program is a great tool for helping children with learning difficulties such as dyslexia, ADD and hearing impairments as well as children who are learning English as a second language.
Earobics teaches students how to:
  • Determine whether two or more sounds are the same or different
    •
  • Remember sounds and words in sequential order
    •
  • Detect the silent intervals between sounds
    •
  • Recognise a sequence of sounds
    •
  • Blend sounds into syllables and syllables into words
    •
  • Identify the position of a target sound in words
    •
  • Associate a sound with a letter or group of letters
    •
  • Understand the meanings of words
    •
    There are 3 separate programmes:
    Earobics Step 1 for developmental ages 4-7
    Earobics Step 2 for developmental ages 7-10
    Earobics for Adolescents

    All three are available in a Home or Specialist/Clinician version
